Electronic Giving - If you are interested in electronically donating to St. James Church, please click here to begin the process. If you want to switch from donation envelopes to electronic donations or if are new to regular donating, please take a look at this new method for supporting our parish! You will need to create an account and then wait for a confirmation email before being able to set up the giving options.
Saint James Health Care Ministry - A good number of our Catholic brothers and sisters are residing in area health care facilities such as Reeder’s Nursing Home, Farney Keedy, Charlotte’s Home as well as folks who are homebound. We are still in need of volunteers to bring Christ to them. Please prayerfully consider bringing Christ to those who cannot physically come to Him for Eucharist. Contact Daria Kaas, Pastoral Associate at 301.432.2887 or kaas@myactv.net with your interest. Thank you to parishioners who have come forward to volunteer their time and care to this important community ministry.
St. James Card Ministry St. James cares about our fellow parishioners. To express our care and concern, we have begun a card ministry. We will be sending cards to parishioners who are sick, hospitalized, recuperating from surgery, experiencing a terminal illness, or homebound. Cards of sympathy can also be sent to those who have had a death in their immediate family. We can also send congratulatory cards to parishioners who are celebrating births and marriages.
If you know of a parishioner who would like to receive a card, please contact Jenny Palla via e-mail at rlpjcp@comcast.net or phone 301-371-9635. Thank you.

Washington County Food Bank Did you know that St. James parish participates in the Washington County Food Bank? Would you like to help out? You can help in two ways. Bring non-perishable food items to St James Church when you come to Mass & drop in the appointed baskets at the side or front entrance. You can take a turn to deliver the donations to the food bank collection site. If you would like to take a turn in taking the food to the Food Bank at the Evangelical Lutheran Church on Main Street, Boonsboro, before Mass on the FIRST SUNDAY of every month, please contact Larry Milihram at 301.582.4307.
