RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and it is the process through which persons join or complete their initiation into the Catholic Church.
RCIA is for those who are not baptized, those who were baptized into another Christian denomination and wish to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church, and baptized Catholics who were not instructed in the Catholic faith and have not completed their initiation through the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. Sessions are held on a weekly basis. Inquiry gatherings are held after Mass on the second Sunday of every month. On the second Sunday of each month Saint James inquiry team is available to talk and answer any questions you may have about the Catholic Faith. Our next gathering is Sunday August 10th in the parish hall after the 11 AM Mass. All are Welcome! Light refreshments are provided. Need more information?
