It's that time of year again - ST. JAMES GREEN FEST FAMOUS PULLED PORK SANDWICHES! Volunteers are needed for Saturday, May 10th at Shafer Park. We anticipate serving over 300 meals as word spreads about the delicious/well-priced meal. Volunteer (a few hours on Saturday) and donation (drinks, chips) sign-up sheets are located in the church hall. Please help out this great fundraising cause for our Parish. Altar Servers needed! Did you know that being a server at Mass, an Acolyte, is a minor order of the Church? It is one of the finest ways a boy or girl can actively participate in the Mass, our highest form of worship. Adult Faith Formation Video of the Month - CATHOLICISM Episode 7, “Word Made Flesh, True Bread of Heaven: The Mystery of the Liturgy and the Eucharist", will be shown May 4, in the church office. The May video will be the last one before the summer break.
Empty Pockets is the process by which an usher will stand at the doors of the church with a basket to collect loose change from parishioners at the end of
Mass. The money collected is to support ministry in our sister diocese of Haiti. Checks are to be made out to St James ONLY.
Calling teens for Summer Camp in Haiti: For the past 5 summers, teens and adults from St Ann and beyond have traveled to our sister parish, St Claire in Haiti to lead
a summer camp for about 100 kids of the parish.
